Class 15

Class 15 sentinel class

In this class you will be learning what it takes to be apart of The Jedi sentinel, one of the three classes of Jedi. these Jedi were know for balancing the other two classes. These Jedi were more service oriented seeking out other cities rather than staying at the temple. These Jedi were also known for their recruitment, they would travel the galaxy finding the future Jedi. While using this knowledge you must act as a sentinel would and seek out other squads, go into three different squads for a day and watch over them, branch out while doing this. Also a sentinel is known for his or her recruitment, get three recruits for the Jedi academy

Class 13

No Longer are battlefield promotions the norm, and no longer are Knights and Masters permitted final say in whether their Padawans are ready to graduate from their apprenticeships. For Padawans to become a Jedi Knight here in the Galactic Order, each Padawan has to over come five trials in order to become a Jedi Knight. What are the five trails? Give me an example of how you have accomplished each trail within GRM and the Galactic order. Which trial out of the five trials were the most difficult for you to accomplish in GRM and Why?

The five trials are

1: Trial of skill

2-Trial of courage

3-Trial of spirit

4-Trial of flesh

5-Trial of insight

The trial of skill - Personally I as a console player until I saved up enough to get a PC when I was 12, and making this transition back onto a console at 24 years old. I’ve gone through my fair share of skill trials. On a personal level I’ve had to readapt my play style be a support player and leader while still fragging. I enjoy teaching people on the fly, while they gather actual knowledge that’ll continue to help them grow and progress in and outside of the game. From teaching people spawns, anchoring & blocking spawns, how to efficiently communicate, get better at winning their ones in gunfights, and how to effectively rotate within games.

The trial of courage - Personally while we’re not a project squad anymore, when I joined we had a Major who didn’t do much beside complain and crack a whip, and with minimal officer corps we’ve been able to grow and surpass 60 members in less than a month since I’ve been an officer. This has taught those of us who have stuck it out a lot about mostly courage, resilience, patience, and gratitude. It has made us better, closer, and shaped us all into potential leaders it’s been significant that we have remained strong, and personally I’ve stayed loyal and at the beck and call of all of my squads members to help it develop, grow, and continue to prosper is these difficult times.

The Trial of spirit - I like to think a normal progression within this family minimally impacts most people. However, since joining I must say while stronger I feel progressing through the trials and tribulations, it’s broken the weaker parts of me off preparing for a new phase in my life. We all lose real friends, gaming friends, new recruits we thought had potential, officers etc. Only we can choose our reaction, and how we overcome all of that, not to mention real life & family drama that no one has even gotten a glimpse of.

The Trial of flesh- Genuinely, I’ve never been one for public speaking but I do love meeting new people! I must say despite not being in an auditorium, or via teams/zoom I’ve enjoyed getting outside of my comfort zone and encouraging others to do the same. Join us in creating enthusiasm has been my new motto!

The Trail of insight - Insight to me has been via recruiting, being able to see through the BS. As well as acknowledging my own mistakes, being personal, and creating a rapport with everyone within our community. But also within our membership in order to make the best leader out of myself I’ve had to take several steps back to look at the bigger picture in almost every regardless of what knowledge I have of said scenario’s.

My most difficult trial was probably the trial of flesh, I’ve always been a people pleaser by nature and I’ve had to chisel that into a more forthright personality rather than my compassionate & empathic baseline self. Becoming a leader within our family whilst hardened me, has also prepared me for speaking to larger groups and being able to manage everyone effectively. While it can be draining the importance of finding a balance of the dichotomy of being a leader and being a friend, something comparable to a mentor.
